Basedin South Central, Los Angeles the movie is about three friends living in the hood. Boyz in the hood shows the realism of violence and discrimination people in the hood deal with. The movie already gives you something to think about as it states at the beginning “Every 1 out of 21 black men will be murdered some by another black man.”. Inthe scene where the 2 cops pull over trey and Ricky, the black cop is the one being aggressive and hostile to the boys while the white cop just watches. In that scene the white cop seems more sympathetic judging by his facial expressions. There has to be a meaning behind this scene but i just haven’t figured it out yet. YbNhKn.
